I'm in the middle of building my 04 Cobra for SCCA World Challenge GT and I'm getting to the wiring harness. I know that the car will not run unless the instrument cluster is hooked up for PATS. I want to remove the cluster and the key switch. Ideally the car should have a toogle switch to put it in run and a push button to start the car. I want to get the harness to a point where only the absolute minimum for the car to run is in it. I'm also going with a Aeromotive fuel system. If the PCM becomes to big a pain I might just go with a Motec M-48 instead, but for now I would prefer to stay with the stock computer. My choice in WCGT is limited to stock ecu or Motec.
Also if some can tell me if the SCP bus is need for the car to run.
