instrument cluster help

I want to change the instrument cluster doe anyone know how to disable or bypass the pats key so it will work

I know that alarm companies make bypass modules so you can have a remote start so maybe one of those will work.

I have absolutely no idea if it's true for these cars, but I'll let you know something when changing instrument clusters on a Lincoln LS. If you do not disconnect the battery before you disconnect the instrument cluster, you will not be able to start the car without having it towed to a dealer and having the PATS reprogrammed. That's not necessarily changing clusters mind you...it's simply disconnecting and connecting your original cluster!!
