I'll be installing a set of Boss style stripes this coming weekend. Curious what you guys are doing around the emblems on the fenders. The stripe passes directly through the 5.0 emblem on both sides. Curious if you're just trimming around it, pulling the emblem, etc?

I've considered running no emblem. Worried that the alignment holes may show through or cause other issues over time. Considered filling with putty and smoothing them to help keep that from happening. Thoughts?

I like the Cobra emblems, but it's not a cobra. I think it'd look sleek, but I don't want it to look like some sort of poser.

There's several different styles of badges I've been watching. Just curious what everyone is doing? I've seen a lot of these style stripes installed, just haven't seen this issue addressed. Thanks

By the way. Satin black stripes going on a Tuxedo Black 2014 GT. Also wrapping the rear deck lid panel to match.

i removed the 5.0 emblems and filled the holes from the back side, put tape on the the out side and back filled. they'll show pretty bad if you don't. you'll have to sand the filler a bit on the outside to flush it perfect. put tape around the holes and sand flush to the tape, remove tape and be very careful with a tiny piece of paper and sand down only the filler keeping off the paint, 320-600 grit

That's what I had in mind, didn't know how well it'd actually turn out. Have an pictures you could post?

I'm tempted to order the satin silver/black cobra badges. I just think they look nice.

Still haven't gotten the side stripes installed, trying to make up my mind on what to do with the emblem situation. Don't mind the grill, in the process of building one.

Went to lunch and noticed somebody put an 8" gash down to the metal in the middle of the hood. Mission aborted.

Think the lawn care guys ran over something metal and shot it across the parking lot. Gonna see how it looks after touch-up. May not be terrible, if it is they have insurance.
