Hey, Now that im O/r and have the xcal 2 to turn off the SES light..
What are my odds of passing inspection?

Do they scan the car? If so theyll see "OBD checklist not completed" thats what happens when the rear O2s are turned off. I forget the code for it but that could fail you. Also if they do a visual inspection of emissions equipment that'll fail you also.

i have mil elims and my car would pass the obd II check no problems.

ok so i should have got the car inspected today...With it pouring down rain... I see

mil elims are different they just fool the ECU into thinking the O2s are functioning, with a SCT or Predator the rear O2s are turned off. This sends a fault code to the ECU but it doesnt turn on the SES light.

None in Florida. =)


BTW- you will fail an exhaust probe. I've ran O/R pipes on my '92, '98, and my '01--- all failed. The good thing about the '92 was that I could disconnect 2 injectors and glide right through. It turned it into a V6 with 2 big air pumps. LOL
