If anyone is interested in the 500hp power plant check out the new issue of Hot Rodding magazine. The article is pretty informative. This may be old news but I figured it was worth posting anyway. Ford used trucks to test the motor because the prototypes weren't ready. The motor has a dry sump oiling system for ground clearance. It uses a 2.3L blower making 12lbs of boost. Has the good forged parts like the 03 Cobra. Another interesting fact is that each cyclinder uses two 32lb injectors and breathes through a twin 70mm throttle body. I guess during testing the blower pulley sheared off and damaged the hood.Sorry I don't have all the info just noticed it when browsing at the store and thought I would share. Now if I can just win the lottery and get one of these beasts.
