I recently discovered while under the car that my inner tie rod ends are bad. They have noticeable play up/down & side to side with metal clacking sound while my bumpsteer ends remain firm no movement.

Whats the go-to brand for inners. The 2 names that stand out are MOOG and Motorcraft. Suggestions welcome

They are likely the same piece, Moog makes a lot of parts for OEM’s. My default is always OEM for things like that

I would go Motorcraft or AC Delco. Yes AC Delco, they broke away from GM and make parts for everything now.

Moog used to be great until they got bought out. Their quality is total shit now and parts flat out don't fit. Yes I have personally dealt with those issues.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I didn't wanna say nothing to seem bias. Awhile back I replaced a bunch of suspension/steering components on my 7.3 Powerstroke cause everyone said Moog was great. Parts didn't even last 2y. Absolute garbage and then I saw post few years back saying exactly what you mentioned. Their name stands out whenever I see it as instant dog turd.

Yep 100% trash!

Supposedly the Napa moog stuff is still good due to the contract they have. I have zero proof to back this up though.
