Inner belt rubbing tensioner. ..

OK I just finished putting my high flow water pump and just to the left right above the inner tensioner I noticed black dust....I put the belt back on a realized it was the belt rubbing :/ anyone else have this issue. Anyone have the belt path?.? Here is the pic

Looks like you are missing an idler pulley that goes where that threaded hole is that sticks out from the timing chain cover.

Yes, there should be an idler in that location. It should be a smooth idler.

Same size as outer but 6 rib..

I just changes all mine..between autozone and orieliey I found all of them

OK I'll piece this together anyone know the dimensions of the bolt? Thread pitch bolt size? And I went to advanced auto parts to buy the pulley but I didn't know what it was called he named like 5 of them. Any help is appreciated

So the car has been like that for awhile then? Figured you just pulled it off and forgot.

I'd remove one of the other idlers and take it and the bolt in with you.

Yeah car sat at a shop for 2 years and had motor rebuilt. Guessing when it was put back together they didn't put it on.now I'm slowly finding several small issues
