When do you plan on pulling it? I'm pulling mine out this weekend to send off for a rebuild. If you're going to do it in the next month or so I'd be extremely interested and I'm local-ish (could make the drive).

At the end there, it sounded like an F1 Procharger with straight cut gears. Keep in mind, it always shifted totally fine, despite the internal damage. Ford won't even agree to listen to it, if the radio can drown it out at moderate volumes. They seriously had that as a diagnostic criteria.
