I have been thinking recently about a career move and to do so I would need to save some money first. If I sell the Lightning and buy a 91 Gt, I can save $100/ month on insurance and $430/month (truck payment). Then after I got my self going economically again I could buy a new Lightning. What do you guys think about that? Is it worth it?

I look at my L as a toy not day to day transportation.
It is hard to justify it as such if you need money to do something. Bite the bullet get a transportation vehicle and come back to a L when it is something you can put the money into as a hobby/transportation vehicle.
I waited a long time to have a truck this fun for these reasons.
Family and stability first then fun.

You can always get another Lightning. Do what you have to do now to get by.
average life span of a male is like 70 years, i figure you have atleast till 65 to get the most out of it.
