Hello, long time no see!!! Ive been hanging around here and there, but not posting!!!
I have a 98 Maxima with WHEEL BEARING issues!! I have replaced the bearing 2 times now, and after about 50 miles of driving time the bearing goes out again!! The axel nut is torqued to specs (225 FT lbs) I did notice that when they put the hub and spindle back on they ripped my ball joint!! The ball joint is bad now,the car wanders suddenly here and there. Anyways, would the ball joint being bad cause symtoms of a wheel bearing issue? I have about 1/2 inch of play back and forth on the wheel when jacked up! So my question is do you think the ball joint will cause the play back and forth on the wheel???
