Ive been looking into getting a water/methanol injection kit for the cobra. Looked at snowperformance.net and found the single stage kit for $299. Now would i need to get a tune if i installed this kit? And has anyone on this forum done it yet. Im sure it would net some great gains. And i wonder if this kit is a DIY, or should i take it to a shop to get it installed?

Yup, I'd tune it. Otherwise you aren't getting max power out of it.

Yes I suggest to tune it after also. I did, you can add a little timming for more power safely.
You can make that EXACT kit for probably half of that. The following link contains the part #'s and approximate cost of some of the parts: LINKY

But to me I'd rather pay more and have everything look 10X's cleaner than that kit looks.
My kit came complete, installed in about 2 hrs. with EVERYTHING I needed. The was a little more than $299 though, it sprays more water/meth the higher the boost. And I can control how much sprays from .5#-30#'s.

I woulda got the AFM Mr.Freeze kit myself.
