Well... I decide that I need to go out on this rainy night to grab some food, and return some videos. I leave the house and drive a couple of blocks until I realize I left the videos at home. I was in a rush so leave my car lights on and lock it. And run in the house.

I grab the movies and run out my house. I get to my car and reach for my keys in my back pocket. What is in my back pocket turns out to be my wallett!!! I'm standing in the rain molesting my pockets trying to find my keys.

Good thing I grabbed my phone so I could a friend to pick me up. My phone also has internet service and my friend that picked me up NEVER answeres his phone. I had to I'm him... And still I was standing outside for 25 minutes waiting for him. When he only lives 5 minutes away.

So right now I'm at subway writing this entry on my phone. I don't know why I always lock myself out of my house. This isn't even the worst story I have. My worst instance was this past december. But that is another story for another time. Damnit :bash:

A phone with a full version of IE?! I didn't know a phone like that existed. Every phone I've seen with "web" access usually only accesses portals or parts of the site that are designed for mobile use.

Why is it always raining when these things happen?

I was visiting a friend at Northern University and met a girl at one of the parties we attended. I went back to her dorm with her and spent some quality time. About 5 am I was heading back to my buddy's dorm and walked outside into a pouring rainstorm. I realized that my car was on a different side of the dorm as I heard the door close behind me. I try to open it but of course it's locked.

So I'm tired, still half drunk, running around the dorm in the rain trying to find my car. After about fifteen minutes, I finally found it. I jumped in and sat down to recover. I am as wet as if I jumped in a pool. This is when I realize that I don't know where I am. I'm not familiar with the town at all. I have no clue which way to go. Definitely a rock bottom moment.

I look off into the distance and see one street light. It's like a beacon shining in the blackness. So I drive over to it and, wonder of wonders, it's the one main street I know in town! I followed it back to my buddy's dorm and dragged my soaked, half asleep body back to his rooms. Of course his door was locked and I had to pound on it until someone came by. What a night! From the peaks of ecstacy to the depths of despair!

flyn,

Damn, that is pretty sh*tty... that by far tops my story. My worst lockout story was again in December.

There was probally a good 6 inches on the ground and I was heading out to go somewhere early in the morning. Well I step out and what do you know, I leave my keys behind me again.

The reason why I lock myself out so much is because I usually have my wallette and phone in my hand, and my keys in my back pocket. Well when something is in my back pocket I imediatly think it's my keys.

Anyway, back to the story... I'm outside and I have to get somewhere FAST. So i take a 20 foot ladder that is covered by about 4 inches of snow, I have nothing but a sweater and jeans (It was very light for the temp outside). I had no gloves at the time also which didn't help me carry the aluminum ladder from the back of the house to the front. Well I prop it up to my window. Good thing i'm a genious and leave my window AC installed through the winter! I just push it in and climb in the window. I almost slipped off the ladder (ice) and fell 2 stories :uh oh:

Later that day, I went to get the mail. I was walking out and had some slippers, shorts and a jacket on. Well it is still like 20 degrees F outside and I'm just running out to get the mail and totally didn't realize that I left my keys in my other jacket until I approached the locked door. I was sooooo BLOWN!!! Good thing I don't go anywhere without my cell phone (even the bathroom). So I call her up, and we drive around a bit. I then proceed to do the same thing I did this morning. Except my toes almost freeze off by stepping through 6 inches of snow in the front yard, and bust my ass AGAIN trying to climb in my window because slippers are not designed for traction and well lets say I came VERY close to breaking a leg and an arm when attempting to climb in my window.

I really need to invest in hiding a 1 dollar spare key somewhere around my house

Darn, sorry to hear 'bout the keys. The fact it was raining only adds insult to injury...lol

A few weeks ago I went to pay 2 tickets (that I got in 2 days :nonono: ) and as-if shelling out $200 wasn't enough I locked my keys in the car...lol Only good part is that it was a really nice day and I ended up talking to a hot girl who let me use her phone. Wasn't all bad :).

The only way to view your internet access in HTML format is to sign up for the data plan. The other internet plan they offer is a WAP plan. Which is just text and really cheezy and slow internet access.

This thing is really cool, it's basically a PDA / phone. They patch the software over the air. And this thing kicks @$$!!!

That's too funny!

Definitely hide a key outside somewhere. Or get a push button code door lock...

Don't even buy a hide-a-key, just wire one underneath your car somewhere. What helps me is my keys/wallet/leatherman (utility tool/knife) are always in one place or the other. Either in a basket at home, or in my right front pocket (keys), left front (leatherman), left rear (wallet). Only variation is wallet and leatherman can be in left front if I don't have a rear pocket.

Wife, on the other hand, puts keys wherever they land, anywhere from coat pocket to the dresser to the laundry room - you get the picture...

FYI, locked the keys in my Cobra when it was running (my alarm automatically locks the doors). No prob, with a coat hanger and about 1 minute's time, I'm in. That is why a fox body car should have an alarm with an ignition kill on it.

I remember when I went on a trip and locked my keys in the car at the hotel. Had to call a locksmith. Really sucked. Nice looking girl though with a slim jim. Wow that would be a great porn movie, ya think?
