The Illinois chapter (ILLNESS) of the National Lightning Owners Club has scheduled its fall meet for Sunday October 26th at Byron Dragway in Byron, IL. All Gen 1 and Gen2 Lightning's and Harley-Davidson truck /owners are invited to attend. This event will feature bracket racing of some of the quickest and coolest looking trucks in the Midwest. We have again arranged to have our own class with dedicated staging lanes, and trophies for this event. If you own one of these trucks, and don't want to race, you should still come out to meet everyone, and get the chance to see what they have done with their trucks.
If you've never been to Byron, it is a nice Sunday drive out into the country. You can still catch some of the beautiful fall colors on your way to and from the facility. Directions can be found under "Track Info" at www.byrondragway.com.
The gates will open by 9:00 AM; track time starts around 10:00. If you want some time trials prior to our event, please get there early. Because of the long delays caused by participants arriving late at our summer event, we have scheduled our first round of eliminations to start at 12:00 noon for this event.
