I got home today, pulled into my driveway and put the truck into park...when I turned the key to the off position the engine continued to run. I turned the key to the off position a couple more times with the same results. I ended up disconnecting the electrical connector that goes to the fuel pump inertia switch in order to shut the engine down, I then disconnected the negative cable from the battery.

Have any of you had this happen? Thanks.

engine on

I had the EXACT SAME thing today w my other car. Went to 3 garages then the tech who put my Bluetooth in, starting finger flicking the relays and it went OFF. One the spots inside had a cold solder. Ended up I switched w another exact relay and ordered another.
one garage guy said it may be Feedback, if you put any aftermarket accessories.

Ignition key cylinder worn out, common problem because of the pot metal and aluminum castings. If you drive with a heavy key ring, lots of goodies on it, it will wear a lot faster.

I took my new cylinder to a locksmith and he keyed it for my current set so I did not have to re-program the PATS.
