I'm a drag strip guy and bought the boss cause of the all forged internal's and it looks bad ass.The suspension is set up for road racing,but mine has gone 7.57 in the 1/8 with a 1.63 60 foot at 95mph on 17inch M/T et streets so yea it hook's hard at the strip on road race suspension.My car is stock.

does the base boss have the same stereo as the base GT? Also, does the base boss have a backseat?

The boss has a very basic interior.The only options offered on the boss is car cover,mats,torsen diff,recaro seat's.I like a basic car so the boss was for me.

I didn't trade the GT...traded an '03 Cobra. Straight line or open track or cuizin' on the street...the Boss will do all three just fine.
