Planning on going with a 2.93 but do not want to loose the belt cover. A friend told me about an idler pulley that mounted in a different location than the typical units. Supposed to be a KB or Whipple and you can keep your factory belt cover. I've looked on their web sites but I don't see anything. Anyone?

WOW!!! $239 for the modified cover!!!! Bit steep for me. I few of the fellas have modified their covers to adapt and I'm going this route. But ran a 2.90 for 10,000 miles with decent results.

Hmmm I like this idea but that is pricey but I may go with it to keep a more stock look under the hood. But belt slippage is a worry for me.

And you are running the Lightning pulley not one of the "anti-slip" pulleys?

Yes. Lightning pulley with a 74" GB belt and ZERO slip.
