I recently had my whipple terminator tuned to e85 and it ran great first day bringing it home I stopped at a Gas station and filled her up without checking the purity of the e85 the next time I noticed my rpms would rise to 2000 and stay there for 20 seconds or so then slowly go down to 1500 witch is still to high its almost like I'm giving it a little gas could bad e85 cause this?

I don’t see how.

I ran a tank or two of E75 through my car with only an E85 tune. Didn’t notice a thing.

I’d start with a visual inspection of the TB and cable to ensure it’s not hanging up.

I noticed the new fuel line is touching the throttle cable and I had a gen 2 head cooling mod installed as Well maybe the problem?

Easiest way to check is next time it's doing it get out and push on the throttle arm. See if the throttlebody closes and the RPM drops. If it does then check the cables. If it doesn't talk to your tuner and see what they say.

You can see in this picture the throttle cable is touching the fuel line.

I doubt the fuel line touching the case of the cable is causing your issue. Unless it's somehow pushing down on the cable causing a weird angle and kink in the cable.

I'm pretty new to motor mechanics in general must less a whipple terminator but I unplugged the cable on the throttle body and it seemed to level it out I noticed a pretty loud hissing sound coming from my driver side.

only running for about a minute so it was still pretty cold I bought it in Nov and the previous owner installed the bap wrong and caused all types of weird idle so I switched to return style a week ago and my tuner finally got it running smooth so I can't really say whats normal.

Yeah first time throwing it on the dyno she went lean between 4 and 5k scared the crap outta me but now that problem is gone with the return style pumps made 650rwhp on 15 pounds of boost and e85 that may be nothing to some of yous but that's flying to me lol
