Installed a four inch intake tube this past weekend on my 95 cobra. Car has a v2 sq. also installed oil breather cap and removed the return line from the valve cover oil cap that plumbs back into the intake. Capped off the oil cap vent.
Car will not idle for crap and is surging hard. 10.9-12.2 a/f. Car goes lean when trying to move it. It will not accept any load at all. What am I missing here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Car threw a code tonight too. Haven't had a chance to pull it yet.
On another note. the PCV valve was about half way out of its grommet before I did all this. When I replaced the gommet and the pcv the car drove great from Raleigh to Jacksonville and back. Upon return the car had the idle sticking at around 1200 rpm and there was no getting it to budge back off under any circumstance.
