I got a 07 500 that just developed a weird issue with the idle only when moving down the road it started hunting from 500-1500 rpms and dies every once in a while??? Just out of the blue and really the only thing that has changed in mn is the weather.

ideas?? i changed the throttle body out and only mods are c&l and early prototype 03 ford gt blower. has diablo tune and makes 600rwhp 15lbs of boost

thanks
Dan

Did you disconnected the battery right before this happened? Did you move the air filter/ intake tube around?

The car is not going to just decide to start doing this with the same tune. If it worked with the tune at first, then the tune is no the issue.

First thing you need to do is doublecheck all of your intake connections from filter to throttlebody. Make sure everything is good and tight.

Could be a vacuum leak, might be a dirty fuel filter... maybe plugs?

If you don't have a CEL or code then it's probably not an 02 sensor, but if you do then that would be a good place to look as well.

If you have not driven the car in the cold weather before, it could be the tune(dashpots). You could try a KAM reset to see if that helps.
