Idle coolant temp

Looking to collect data for something I am working on.


Please post your idle coolant temps at operating temp. If you could include minimum (after car has reached operating temp) and maximum. If tuned post by whom.

Only thing required is a factory 180 degree thermostat and cooling system.


Pretty sure I have figured out why some people are experiencing burned out cooling fan resistors and harness plug.

What do you think is the issue? I haven't seen many issues with this.

Also are you wanting head temps (displayed in premium gauges) or plugged in data logged coolant temps?

I idle at 198-207cyl head temps with it usually staying at 203-205degrees. Hellion TT with Fluidyne radiator and stock T-stat

Idle I have 200-215*f Cylinder head temps. Coolant temps is usually with in a few degrees of head temps.

I always run around 203* coolant temp and that's through my aeroforce gauge.

You calibrated your car yourself correct? Factory fan settings?
