How do I determine that a '93 cobra has a cobra engine? Are there casting codes on the heads, intake, etc?

What do I look for on the intake other than the easily replaceable "cobra" plaque?

I am looking at buying a 93 cobra, and want to make sure it is correct, and not a normal 5.0 that was swapped in.

Thanks for your help.

93 Cobra intakes do not have an EGR plate. The throttle body is attached directly to the inlet of the upper. They also do not have a coolant passage going through the intake so the heater lines are solid with no nipples for the hoses. The intake runners are round instead of oval.

The heads have a "GT" casting on the front out side corner. The front of the heads also have 3 cast in bars that are running vertical.

The cobra valve covers are stamped steel instead of the cast aluminium.
