I live northeast of Ft. Worth and have been in dfw since late 80's. The summers can be very hot and long but as far as humid not near as bad as Florida or Houston for that matter. Winter is usually mild but can ice or snow but it never lasts long. I grew up in Chicago Oak Park actually and as I love the food would never move back. For the car guy its nice here you can drive year round mostly and never see a rusy piece of junk. Over the years food choices have become aot better.
