IAT2/MAP Sensor Connector Length

I've searched both on here and google and found nothing about it. I put the sensor in the lid of the 03-04 Mach 1 Intake (similar location to Hellion's instructions) but the connector is still 3-4 inches away. I have not seen anywhere that the wires need to be extended, but, I've tried pulling the big harness up to get more room with no success.

Just wanted a double check if everyone has had to extend that harness?

I never had to extend the wires for mine.

If they aren't long enough just solder longer wires on and heat shrink them problem solved.
