They only make 45 of them. Looks like people who said they weren't worth the 75k Lee Iacocca was asking for them were WRONG.

I was going ask you the same question.

Nobody because I eat Great Value Corn Flakes

Look, all I am saying is everything at Barrett Jackson is a game of oneupsmanship, which is what any good auction house wants. higher bids? Higher auction fee$

Personally, for $320,000, that's good amount of money to be spent on retirement.

It is an awesome car and a great design overall. Super clean and I love the fastback look.

Can't say I'd give that much for one.

Yeah it could be, but I look at it from an enthusiast POV. Somebody has to buy and persevere these classics. Store them and maintain them for future generations.

It might be a good retriement for some but apparently these people have a better retriement plan than we do.

haha, i laughed just reading the name of that cereal.

I agree with that. I can't wait to tell my grandkids about internal combustion and gasoline while they are approaching on their hypersegway powered by sunshine

I just look at it as "HEY I CAN THROW DOWN THIS KINDA MONEY! LOOK AT ME" which pretty much happens anywhere and everywhere in America- even in these "Trying" times.

If you're paying .3 million dollars for a Mustang, you're probably not worried about retirement at all. lol

JUST because someone at barrett-jackson spent $320k on this car, doesn't mean that its worth $320k...as someone mentioned, its just a bunch of guys that blow money on cars and spend more than what the car is really worth.

I personally find that mustang UGLY, imo. I wouldn't spend $20,000 on it.

But its whatever, if someone wants to waste $75k on an ugly car, more power to them.

So goes the saying, it's not what it's worth, but what someone is willing to pay for it. Therefore, it's worth $320,000. I wouldn't pay that for it despite I like its looks and it will be a collector's car...oh yea, and I don't have $320,000 lying around to spend on a toy. :rolling:

If I had 75k lying around, I'd buy it. It looks like a concept car, and is downright gorgeous.

Barrett Jackson used to be a great place to buy cars but unless you're got a Dad that owns a fortune 500 company there is no reason to go. There are deals but they are few and far between.
