I searched and couldn't find exactly what you use to clean it with! All I could find was people saying you should clean it for such and such problem but not what to clean it with! So I was wondering what do you use to clean the IAC with?

I heard rubbing alcohol and some q-tips should do the trick
Would you guys recommend that I clean an IAC with 16k miles on the car? No for a truly dumb*ss question, where / which part is it? I'm guessing it is the butterfly intake.
Its a little silver cylinder that stick out on the back side of the throttle body. If I remember, there are 2 small screws that hold it in place.
If your having problems with it, I would just swap it for a new one... its not like its a pricey part. Mine was gumming up, so I swapped it out and car ran like it was new.

Ya its easy to take off, never hurts to give it a cleaning
