So, I have a 14 GT auto with a VMP setup on it. 82mm pulley, 47lb injectors, MMR opg's and VMP tune. It currently has gone a best of 10.60 and a best MPH of 134.

I have around 3k to spend and would like to see if I could get a 9 sec slip with the stock block.

What route should I go?

It's been done on an 82mm pulley, but you will need to do almost everything else.

Fuel injectors, fuel system, and tune for e85. The TVS and the stock converter actually work good together. With the e85 you will be able to add more timing off the line which will help as well. I'd guess you will need a min trap of 136 to break into the 9s.

Single digits have been done with 134mph and a 1.3 sixty. Can that be done with a stock stall? Doubtful.

Not sure if OP has access to E85. If not then maybe ms109. Wouldn't need a fuel system for that either
