I used Castrol Syntec 30 weight in my Cobra, any reason not to use it in my F150?

I am currently using German spec Castrol Syntec 30 weight in my 3V 5.4 2007 F150, just as I did in my 2003 Cobra. Is there any reason that I should not use it? I have been using it for about 500 miles now, and have not noticed any problems.

I've only ever used the motorcraft oil and filter called for in the manual. I got the extended warranty and don't want any excuses if something goes south in the motor.

German spec 0-30 is api certified (to maintain warranty). Doesn't the f-150 call for 5-30 or 5-20? That 0-30 is good stuff, and I recommend it in most anything, Im just wondering what the factory takes.

As long as you're referencing to 0-30 or 5-30; not straight-30wt....you'll be fine.

I've been running Mobil 1 5-30 in the Cobra and a 3V 5.4/150 with no issue out of either hot or cold.
