Figured since it's shiny and I'm showing you it should go in "Show'n'Shine". I was tired of the black painted calipers I had, especially against the black wheels, when I saw someone on LS1Tech with polished calipers. That was it. I started off with a power drill and a paint and rust stripper attachment. I stripped off all the paint and the first couple of layers of coating on the calipers. I switched to a pretty low grit (80-100) polishing pad attachment and went to town. I kept switching to higher grit pads until I was satisfied, then I went with a sanding block and 220 grit and sanded out all of the deep gouges until it was smooth. Once everything was smooth I switched to 320 grit and then finished up with 800. I then used Mother's metal polish to shine them up. Let me know what you think:
