I lost my ticket.

I got a ticket from a speed camera in md and lost the ticket the day after I received it in the mail. My question is are those tickets through the state county or something else. I am trying to pay it but am I not sure where to go. Just figured I ask before I stop by the police station and ask.

in alot of states (unsure about yours...) they are handled by a private entity, so the police would not likely not be able to help you.

It probably depends on the county and which company they contract to own/run/maintain the speed cameras. Obviously the company gets a significant chunk of the revenue generated by these things, in some cases its almost 50%. In Montgomery county, where I live, Speed Safe owns and runs the speed cameras. Not sure about other municipalities.

Thanks guys. I looked it up for charles county where I live. It is through another agency it seems and you pay it on that site. But they needs info off of my ticket to pull it up haha. I may just try to contact that company to see if I give them my tag they could maybe pull up my ticket
