I interviewed after another person for an assitant plant manager job and they got us confused. They think he is at my current position(3rd shift supervisor) and thats why they gave him the second interview. They gave it to a bosses kid anyway but WTF!
I didnt get a promotion because they confused me with someone else.

Yep, it's all about who you know in this world. Isn't there a term for that? I remember watching some dateline show with the Trump family being the main focus.
