Damn.. worth a shot. It's going to be one hell of a car man. The Griggs suspension won't disappoint that's for sure.

No problem. When you come by we can do some further "testing" and see how you feel about your purchase lol. JFWY

Who did you tap for the install ?

lol...you'll try to compound boost my car?

personal friend who is an electro-mechanical genius when it comes to cars...I did not RFQ to anyone or I would have let you bid on it...the economy has impacted him for the worse and I'm giving him the entire project because he is capable and his family needs the money...

You can use it as a hood ornament for all I care.... A weight savings of 10lbs of static weight? Not worth the money.

Now unsprung weight or rotational weight is a different story.

For the sake of weight discussion every bit counts..............

In this build

Aluminum Block (100 lbs)
Braille Battery (25 lbs)
Shorties (10 lbs)
Griggs SLA Front Chassis (40 lbs)

It all adds up!

No worries. Couldn't think about it for a few months. I moved and told no one so I'd slow down. That worked, but people are finding me again. :bash: Personal friend. Awesome given the reasoning in my pm. You should be fine with a homie hook up.
PM me if you think he wants some more work after your car.

He is a turbo custom fabrication specialist. He makes all of his own stuff. You two would get along famously. His name is Eric Anderson and I'll connect the two of you. Leave him alone until my car is completed :)

:) I'll leave him alone. If he can weld I will definitely have work for him !! I have a little ways to go though. Have to finish and then build the jigs. I haven't been able to find anyone who can really weld. They can certifiably put two pipes together but leave some aesthetics to be desired.
I think space is going to become a commodity at your house pretty soon huh ? lol

He is a welding master---any type of welding---function and appearance.

While I have plenty of room for all of the parts in my garages---the parts are all shipping to Eric :)

Van do you have a good shot of the k-member you can PM me ? Curious to see if it's modifiable for my kits.

The K-Member is designed to work with an SLA (Short Long Arm) Suspension and will not work with the McPherson Strut System that you will most likely see or use 99.9% of the time with your kits.

All build threads IMHO should start out with, "I'm paying to have all of this done to my GT500."

Classic.
