You can use it as a hood ornament for all I care.... A weight savings of 10lbs of static weight? Not worth the money.
Now unsprung weight or rotational weight is a different story.

I'll leave him alone. If he can weld I will definitely have work for him !! I have a little ways to go though. Have to finish and then build the jigs. I haven't been able to find anyone who can really weld. They can certifiably put two pipes together but leave some aesthetics to be desired.
