OK, so I´ll ask rather than mess up. I need to learn how to powershift. LOL, there I said it...I said it! No, really, it scares me to powershift...miss a shift and its done. I´ve always just shifted the conventional way. Anyway, so how did you learn to do so and did you mess up a few trannys? Car's I've raced are v8 rx7's, turbo civic and rotary 7's too. Best time was the ls1 rx7 with around 320hp at 4500ft of altitude at 12.7 and BFG drag radials.

Whats the proper technique, if there is any specific.

there are a few videos on youtube that demonstrate guys doing it. I'd find them but at work I'm blocked. I recall one was "HotRodHarry"

it takes some practice, IMO start with the 3-4 shift, its the easiest, and work your way from there.

just gotta keep your foot in it
