I have been trying to get my hydroboost pressure line installed for a few hours now.

For some reason I am unable to get the line at the pump installed without damaging the teflon seal.

I am using an intall tool to keep the seal from rolling but no matter what I do the seal squeezes out on the last turn of the fitting.

I have tried waiting over an out for the seal to shrink back and it still happens.

WTH am I doing wrong?

Is the seal squeezing out normal?

Thanks.

have you tried putting oil/lube/or brake fluid on the outside of the seal before screwing it in to see if it will slide in and not grab or gall up - also ice should help it shrink a little just try not to get it into the pipe. It seems to be a lot of material hanging out you might get a little but that looks excessive - hope this helps

Each time the seals were well lubricated.

It was 60 in my garage the last time I tried after letting the seal sit for an hour but I'll try some ice. Maybe I'll give some canned air upside down a try too.

Blkkbgt did you have any luck with it? Anyhow sounds like you were doing everything right to not have issues for what its worth, might be worth trying it to see if it leaks.
