HUmount radio kit

OK guys I love the looks of this thing, but have a few questions. 1) what color LED actually matches the gauges the best? 2) on the mounting did you use the screws or just the double sided tape? 3) will this work with any radio kit, or do I have to buy the "best" brand they suggest on the site?

1. I got the blue LED's. I don't think thay offer any that are a closer color.

2. Double sided tape. It makes for a cleaner install.

3. It worked with the kit that came with my radio from Crutchfield. I don't know if it was a 'best' kit, but it had the same 550 part #.

Where do you get power for the LED at? I have one but don't know where to hook it up.

I read that just the other day , the brown wire on the headlight switch wire.

Yup. I didn't want mine lit all the time, so I wired it to come on with the rest of the accessory lights.
