I bought these wheels a little bit ago to repowdercoat and rock on my car as a step up from the BBS and unfortunately for me, I can't fully bring myself to love these wheels. I'm a huge stickler about wheels making or breaking the car and these aren't working for me. Before I dick around with different lips and colors and break these down, I'm just going to try and rehome them. So anyone who knows anyone who might be interested, please spread the word.
Onto the specs:
HRE 597r
-Bought in March, completely torn down and refinished with 2 new inner rear barrels and 2 new outer front barrels.
-Barrels are Gloss Black
-Faces are a two coat system: Satin Black Base with a Black Chrome top coat
-Bolts are real 24k gold plated bolts from Spintech LLC. I had to have the flanges turned down to fit in the wheel face recesses so some of the plating flaked. You'd have to be ontop of the wheels to ever notice.
Fronts: 18x9.5 with a 275/35r18 Toyo RA1
Rears: 18x12.5 with a 345/30r18 BFG KDW Drag Radial
Rear tires are literally brand new. Fronts are probably 70% life, I have two spare fronts as well, same style, about the same life left.
