Repost from the GT500 section, Hooked on Driving event at Pocono Raceway last weekend. Intermediate solo group. Considering the wet conditions, I was extremely happy with how the car performed. Got it up to about 160 mph on the back straight. I was particularly impressed with the Continental ExtremeContact DW tires and Mintex F3R racing brakes. The clutch started giving out at the end, but it was the original and probably time to go anyway.

I've been there with those clouds before. Might have been the same ones. LOL

160 mph on the back straight and 150-155 mph on the front straight. No heat soak.

I agree. What also didn't help is that it was about 45 degrees for most of the day. Tires got cool very quickly.

You'll have to join me at a NASA or SCMC event sometime. I just did Superfest at VIR. It was 3 sunny days in the upper 70's.
