hp limit for t45

just wondering what kind of hp/trq the t45 can handle stock thanks

they can break at 300hp if you try to quick shift them, second ger syncros just don't hold well. As for power if you treat it nice you can go up around 450 but your gonna have to baby it

they're good until they break. there are plenty of 400+ hp guys on here running them with zero problems

Car in sig did fine with 400+. But I had another Cobra where the input shaft broke and it was just an CAI/Pulleys/Tune car.

HP doesn't break them. Torque does.

Keep shock loads to a minimum (ie power shifting, dumping the clutch, sticky tire launches) and it will last longer.

Seriously, I blew my stock trans when all I had was exhaust and 3.73 gears. Sure if you baby it it might last long but its not a fun car unless you are ripping through the gears IMO.
