So you're attending the Formula 1 race in Monaco? How do you make your yacht standout among all those other luxury boats??

BTW...at around the 2:20 mark, note the yacht in te background!!!

I will take things Kimi Raikkonen wished he had for 1000.

Cant wait to watch racing all day sunday lol
Sadly Manaco F1 these days: watch two laps, take a shower, make meal, saw 95% of the race. More who's who celebrity event than a race.

Was just watching F1 highlights. I'm not old but the last few years haven't done much for me. Used to get up and "party watch" at 5am or what ever God forsaken time with oldl friends that moved away. Don't think any of us have watched a single race in a season. Not a fan fan of the young bloods, maybe I am old.

Went to Monaco for the race in 2018, we did it RIGHT, a dinner at Hotel de Paris, Qual on the 10th floor @ turn 1. For the race, the end yacht at the chicane. Icing on the cake, we were at a hotel where some of the teams were, including the race winner Ricardo, so there he was in the lobby monday morning, got to shake his hand and congratulate him. Will go again at some point, as it was such an amazing experience.

Sadly, you're correct. It seems to be more about qualifying and who starts up front. Track is just roo narrow for such large cars. But, it's Monaco. Like the announcers were saying today; if you proposed a race in Monaco today you'd be laughed at all day. But, no one is going to take it off the schedule either.
Qualifying today was fun tho!

not at my post...
I was in Monaco a few years back for a Schlumberger conference. I stayed at the Fairmount Casino/Hotel, sits on top of the tunnel. Unfortunately this was about a month before the race, lol…I walked the course and we got to go to the Prince Rainier museum, bad ass collection.

100%, I did some similar at last years race. It was absolute blast and I want to do it again. In person Monaco is absolutely spectacular, especially qualifying. I assume you are talking about Le louis XV restaurant at the Hotel? What incredible food and experience.

Actually Le Grill at the top of the hotel (I dont remember if that was what it was called back then). They brought ottomans for the ladies handbags, and menus with out prices as well. The men got menus with prices.

We will go again for the F1 weekend.

Ahh We did lunch at Le grill which is fantastic also. Le Louis is the downstairs restaurant facing the Casino. They did the same thing there for the ladies handbags, cool little touch that I had never seen before at a restaurant, my wife wasn't sure what was happening at first :ROFLMAO:. We did qualifying at Las Rascasse which I would highly recommend as I don't think you can get any closer to an F1 car.

One observation from race day, yesterday:
F1 race was sponsored by Mercedes and ran without commercials while the Indy 500 had a commercial every 5 minutes it seemed.

BTW...Monaco with 15 laps wet? That made things a bit more interesting

Every F1 race is broadcast commercial free.
