Yes remove the snout bolts, use a hammer and block of wood to firmly tap the snout and rotors off/out of the case. It is that simple. While the snout is off check the coupler for fit, i.e. no slop and grease the rear bearings as needed. Clean up the machined mating surfaces, use anaerobic sealant on the mating surfaces then reassemble. Torque the case bolts to 22ftlbs, fill with GM SC oil...go have fun!
