hey, is there anyway to reduce the chance of moisture from e85 getting into your oil? I changed my oil (RP 10w-30) recently and it smelt like shit. One of the worst smells ever and it was because e85 got into the oil and made it watery.

Anyway to prevent this? Should i switch to a thicker oil? I change it about every 2k miles because of e85.

Thanks

If you are having fuel dilution issues with E85, then it's possible your tune is too rich, or you have a bad habit of short tripping this car. i.e. not driving it long enough to get the oil hot, which will allow the lubricant to boil off fuel dilution. Take the car for a 1 hour drive, drive aggressively, then test your oil again for "smell".
