How to get rid of raspy exhaust?

How's it going fellas? I'm running BBK LT's with off road X and Mac cat back. How the heck do I get rid of the rasp from 2.5-3.5K? It's killing me.

Cats ususally help raspiness. In some cases they help give the exhaust some tone rather than just noise. That is just a personal opinion though.

Try adding cats, or swap out the x for an h pipe.

If it's BBK's x-pipe then that's your problem! Those things suck. I had one and that was the culprit.

go H or X with cats. will still sound a little raspy with the MAC cb.

The X is the raspiness you speak of. Cats help it, because they deaden the sound down obviously.

Switch to an H if you want to get rid of the rasp! :banana:

I would think a upr o/r x-pipe would fix it. Or if it would fit a Kooks o/r x-pipe. That's what I have and no rasp anywhere.

its the X pipe...get an H and it will go away.

DON"T get an O/R x..it will make it 10x worse..i just took my off road upr X off and put stingers with the stock H on and it sounds 100x better

i got a bass o/r x pipe, i had borla stinger on it , i hated it , i put some mac's after i did my SRA swap, its alot better now, but i see you got mac's right now. h pipe wil cut the rasp down , and with the cats. mine with the 3.73s it isnt as bab on the interstate cruisen speed.

I have the BBK H and I love it. I will be putting the BBK O/R H on in a couple of days though... I hope it doesn't rasp. I have heard the mixture of the O/R H and magnaflows are a perfect match
