Hey, my buddy has a 99 cobra and wants to put some deep dish 10s or 10.5" wide rims on it. What has to be done to acomplish this with the irs? Any grinding or anything? Thanks
steeda sales round headed bolts for the IRS, he could buy that or, just shave the bolt his self, once he gets the wheels and tires, he'll see what bolt im talking about
how about doing a search, there was a thread about this with pix
It depends on whether the car is lowered, what brand of tire he is planning on running, and who makes the rims he is buying. We need to know more to answer your question.
I am lowered and have 10.5's with 315 Nitto Drags, and I have no issues with the IRS bolt.
i'm running 18x10's w/ nitto 305/35's out back. not lowered and all i needed to do was get themput on. ha ha. no clearance issues, no spacers and no shaved irs bolts
