How to check a.c. system

How do I check my low pressure switch on my ac? And here's my problem my clutch won't engage and I can spin the clutch by hand so it's not seized and I tried pumping some Freon in it in case it was low still nothing so i need some help in diagnosing this problem any help would be appreciated.

Jump the wires and see if the clutch engages. What you are referring to is the A/C cycling switch, it is mounted on top of the accumulator/drier. It should have a purple and dark blue/yellow wire going to it.

So I unplug it from that and stick a paperclip or wire in between both sides of the plug?

Yup. I'd use a piece of wire.
