I know it's a noob question, but I have very little experience with these cable clutches. I have a rattle in neutral and while cruising (no load) that goes away during acceleration or if I push in even a slight bit on the clutch. I think it may be a bearing going bad, but I want to try adjusting the cable first.

Can someone explain to me how to adjust the firewall adjuster? Which way tightens and which way loosens? I assume I would want to try tightening it to get rid of a rattle.

It is a stock clutch with around 60K miles with a Billetflow adjustable quadrant and firewall adjuster. I appreciate any input.
