Lol that's funny but the real story goes like this..

The riff was written back stage at a sound check for a show in Australia. Right after Jack came up with it, he played it for a random passing sound tech and asked him what he thought and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and said, "eh, it's ok". LOL

The seven nation army lyrics started when Jack was a child and he had misheard someone say "salvation army". He heard it as "seven nation army" and it stuck with him.

Nope! IMHO Jack White is a colossal douchebag. Unfortunately many of the people in the entertainment business and those who claim to be artists, generally suck overall as human beings, he being one of them.

However, the song Seven Nation Army has a killer riff that really sticks in your brain.
