How rare is an 81' T-top

Just wondering how rare they are. My stepdad found one and is wondering if it's worth to buy and restore. It's beat up a little but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Anyone have any info? Thanks, Brady

Im not too sure on the '81 s? I know my '83 GT T-top is rare where I live. The only one I've ever seen in person. Here are a couple of pics of it...

i belong to 4eyed pride, its a great site, they can look up your production # and all sorts of things. ive got two 4eyes, one an 83 GT Conv. and an 84 RS Turbo which is really rare

I go on FEP as well, awesome site. 81 T-Tops aren't too common. Any T-Top fox is going to be somewhat rare. I'm in the process of resto-modding my 86 GT T-Tops.
