anyone know how many quarts the 6speed takes?

Less than 3 quarts. I just did this in November and have about 1/3 quart left from the 3 I bought.

Its just slightly under 4 quarts, four quarts is what you need.

I read 4.1 somewhere I think, but we just put a little under 4 in on friday when the trans was pulled.

Wow, my lift must be way off level. I even had it pretty well emptied with doing the 26 spline conversion. Seriously, if they said 4, than get 4. My bad.
