Yah it'll hold for a while if its tuned right. I read of a guy with a whippled 5.0 that blew up just under 700. Stock motor.

I know oil pump gears are failing some. I think 650 should be ok.

I called about the billet oil pump gears and the reason why they are failing is the motors are being revved too high for the gears to live. So if you make 750 hp at 6500rpms you will be fine. But if your revving it much past 7k you may lose the oil pump and then the motor.

I really just want to keep up with a ZL1, the 2013 Cobra and a ZO6 Vette. Thinking the 624 flywheel HP setup might be enough. I'm guessing its like 9-10 lbs of boost and 550 rwhp. You think the stock motor can live 4-5 years at 9lbs. I would track it once 7-8 times a year (70 passes a year) Unfortunately, I drive hard on the road and love speed shifting a 7k. Shit driving to work is like running 2-3 passess a day. I prbably do need to forge it. Even at 625-650 FWHP.

Give MMR a call and see what they quote you.

Personally, if you're only wanting to make 550rwhp then I'd just upgrade the oil pump to a billet oil pump assembly. There's plenty of guys making over 600rwhp on the stock motor. It's all in the tune.
