How much timing to run .....

On a STOCK BLOCK race tune with 104 octane mixed with 93??? I have a stage 4 ported eaton with a 6lb seeing about 16-17psi, my street tune is 14* and I was thinking either 17 or 18* for the race tune?? And this is for TRACK ONLY so ..........what do you think? What would be the ideal a/f for this also?

I am wondering how your seeing so much boost with a 6lb lower. Converters?

I would say that 15 or 16 would be enough. My tune is set to max timing at 14* in 3rd.

hes beyond super safe, he would probally say 12*

I have a 6lber,ported eaton on 17* dd on 93octane never had any problems only seeing 13.5lbs of boost

I've run as high as 16* and thats on 93 octane....
