Not necessarily trying to beat one per se, hell, i've only seen a handful on the road period, and i'm usually driving my Ranger at the time anyhow. At any rate, what kind of power does an '03/04 need to be putting down to at least hang with a stock C6 Z06?

You will need about 600 ish HP and 550 ish torque. Give or take a little but that is an estimate to hang with or beat them. Depends on many things though.

I've seen some Cobras making way less than those numbers hang with some Z's it really just depends.

I believe you could do it with 550rwhp to probably 120-130mph after that aerodynamics will happen lol

Your gonna need over 500 rwhp to keep up with one that's for sure. They are very fast and light weight. With the power i make right now I beat my friends stock 08 z06 which took him for a loop cause he didnt see it coming lol.

I believe that's way off. I've spanked the shit out of C6 ZO6's with 580 RWHP/530 RWTQ before my LT's and other mods that put me at 610 RWHP/565 RWTQ.

I also have multiple buddies with ported Eaton's making just over 500 RWHP hang with and/or take C6 ZO6's by a small margin.

I think a safe number would be 515 RWHP/500 RWTQ on your typical Terminator to keep up with and/or edge a stock C6 ZO6 out.

That's good to hear because that's exactly where i'm at right now with my 2.2 KB. 550rwhp and 510rwtq at 17lbs. I'm seriously considering slapping on a smaller pulley to up the boost to 19lbs. Would that require Torco or could i still use 93 pump gas at 19lbs?

I'm glad you mentioned that. Like I said, I've seen some Cobras making way less than what I posted keep up with them as it just depends on drivers and a wide variety of things.

Check KB's website but I think they say 18lbs is the max on pump gas....

Add a hellion single turbo!

I think 19psi is the MAX I would run on pump. It's right on the edge of needing race fuel.

You can still use pump 93 at 19lbs. Adding torco will get you more timing and power during the tune but it isnt needed at 19lbs.

Max on pump gas, in my books, is 17psi. Anything more than that, you should be using 100 octane or higher depending on how aggressively you're having it tuned.

600 for sure. At least here in California I wouldn't go over 15psi on pump gas. Some guys say 17 but I think that's pushing it.

Im going to say about 100rwhp more than whatever the z06 is making

I'd say your right. Given that, by driving both of them my Terminator would smack the shit out of my Z06 in the quarter. Never lined the two up, but I plan on it sometime. Just have to find someone I can trust driving the Z06. My Terminator 653 rwhp, 618 tq, my Z06 with intake and tune 491 rwhp 460 tq. Z06 is at a huge disadvantage on its stock tires though. They don't make a good drag radial on the stock 19" rim size. Couldn't get the Z06 into the 11s with 2.6 60 fts, but it was trapping 125ish all day in the Las Vegas heat.
